Why we exist
Shantigram is one of Gujarat's largest planned townships — fifteen thousand residents across dozens of towers, with a vibrant mix of home-based entrepreneurs, mall shop owners, tutors, fitness coaches, tiffin services, and small businesses that mostly thrive on word of mouth. We built ShantigramCentral because that word of mouth deserved a better home: a platform that only the Shantigram community can list on, where residents can shop, book and discover the people they already pass in the lobby.
What makes us different
- Community-verified. Every vendor goes through a flat-number or shop-unit whitelist check and a manual KYC review. Nobody from outside the township can list.
- Hyperlocal by design. No nationwide warehouses, no cross-city logistics. Discovery is tuned to your block, your tower, your neighbourhood plaza.
- Fair to small sellers. Zero setup cost, transparent subscription tiers, no surprise commissions. Vendors keep their margin and keep ownership of their customers.
- One login, two roles. The same account works whether you're listing homemade meals from your kitchen or ordering them from your neighbour upstairs.
Who we are
ShantigramCentral is operated by a small team of Shantigram residents who got tired of losing their favourite home-baker's WhatsApp number every time their phone broke. We are privately funded, deliberately bootstrapped, and answerable only to the community we serve.
